Conservation Framing
Description:
Only acid free materials are used!
Framing of:
Water colour, etching, pastel, in fact any paper born art with monitory or heritage odue.
Snapper Frames
Description:
Also known as Easy Open Frames. The perfect solution for everyone who is planning on changing items on a regular basis. It is easily accessible from the front.
Framing of:
Prints, mirrors, art work, 3d objects framed in high volumes to decorate offices, hospitals, schools, restaurants, hotels etc.
Sizes:
A5 – A0 or custom made
Colours:
Aluminium, and a variety of popular colours.
Block Mounting
Description:
Budget way of framing. Items are vacuum pressed on a board, with the sides built up to 25 or 45mm and painted black.
Framing of:
Posters, photos, prints (glossy) which are printed on thick durable paper/carton that will be able to last without having any protection in front like glass.
Box Framing
Description:
3D objects are boxed in and then finished off with mount boards and covered with glass and a frame.
Framing of:
T-shirts, rugby jerseys, medallions, sculptures, bottles of wine, basically any 3D object.
Floats
Description:
To frame an item between two pieces of glass, which gives an impression that it’s floating inside the frame. A floating mount board can also be used to make it look more presentable.
Framing of:
Rice paper, certificates, photos, prints, posters. Not recommended for oil or acrylic art as the paint tends to stick to the glass.
